Blackjack, also known as 21’s, is a variation of Pontoon, and by far one of the most popular games! An ideal game for novices & the more experienced players. This is certainly another one of those must have games at any fun gaming night!
Easy to learn and fun to play!
For those that have not hit the blackjack tables or played online, here is how it works:
The main objective of the game is to get as close to 21. The player plays against the dealer.
The one closest to 21 wins the bet! When you go over 21 it’s a bust!
The dealer must draw on 16 (depending on the casino) and stand on 17.
This means once the dealer has 17 he / she is not allowed to draw another card for the house.Should you and the dealer have the same amount it’s called a push. This means that no one wins or loses the bet.
Increasing your initial bet by 100% in exchange for committing to stand after receiving one more card.
If the first two cards have the same value, the player can split them into two hands, by moving a second bet equal to the first into an area outside the betting box. The player then plays out the two separate hands in turn, with some restrictions.
After the initial deal the player will look at their hand & decide to continue playing or to surrender.
Should the player surrender 50% of his betting’s will be taken by the dealer.
If the dealer turns an up-card of an Ace, he will offer “Insurance” to the players. Insurance bets can be made by betting up to half your original bet amount in the insurance betting stripe in front of your bet. The dealer will check to see if he has a 10-value card underneath his Ace, and if he does have Blackjack, your winning Insurance bet will be paid at odds of 2:1. You’ll lose your original bet of course (unless you also have a Blackjack), so the net effect is that you break even.
If this sounds a bit intimidating, don’t worry. Our professional croupiers will run through it with you and before you know, you will break the bank.
This game offers hours of fun and laughter!
It is loads of fun & always a hit at any event!
See you on the Blackjack table!
